Atlético and CPL Expand Reach Through New Broadcast Partners

OTTAWA, ON - Atlético Ottawa and the Canadian Premier League (CPL) will reach more Canadians than ever before in 2026, with a significantly expanded linear television footprint delivering unprecedented national visibility across multiple networks and platforms.

The League's eighth season will feature a comprehensive, coast-to-coast distribution strategy, with matches airing on TSN, RDS, TVA Sports, CBC and CBC Gem, alongside continued always-on access via OneSoccer, the dedicated home of the CPL where every match will be available live and on demand.

Key highlights of the 2026 broadcast schedule include:

TSN: Continued CPL on TSN Match of the Week coverage, featuring 28 matches

CBC & CBC Gem: Select regular season matches on CBC, including the 2026 season opener between reigning CPL Shield winners Forge FC and reigning CPL champions Atlético Ottawa on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 12 p.m. ET. Weekly matches on CBC Gem from April through September

TVA Sports & RDS: Atletico Ottawa's francophone audience will enjoy expanded French-language coverage, including 18 matches on TVA Sports linear television and 10 matches on RDS.ca and the RDS app, supported by studio programming, commentary and enhanced editorial coverage

OneSoccer: All 112 regular season CPL matches available live and on demand, remaining the dedicated home of the league

The 2026 CPL playoffs, which sees a return to four teams, will be broadcast on OneSoccer, TSN and CBC, with a full broadcast schedule to be announced at a later date.

Across all platforms, CPL matches will continue to be produced by OneSoccer, ensuring consistent, high-quality broadcasts and storytelling throughout the season.

Additional local radio coverage in the wider Capital Region includes:

TSN1200: For the seventh consecutive season, the team at TSN1200 - Ottawa's flagship sporting radio channel - will bring coverage of all Atlético Ottawa home matches at TD Place to the passionate Ottawa-Gatineau audience. The voices of AJ Jakubec and Gordon Smith, along with guest features from Tyler McDonald, provide access to insight, analysis and play-by-play of the defending Canadian champions as they have done since Atletico's inaugural season at TD Place in 2021.

UniqueFM: Launched in 2010 and serving the francophone population of the National Capital Region, UniqueFM, with Nicolas St-Pierre and Guy Girard, delivered play-by-play and analysis of Atlético Ottawa throughout the title-winning campaign of 2025 and return for 2026. Interviews with Atlético players, coaches and front-office staff can be watched on YouTube on the show Dans Le Vestiaire.
