
Cava Activated, Paradise Placed on Injured Reserve

BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves coach Bob Woods announced today defenseman Chris Cava (KAHV-ah) has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve and forward Dave Paradise has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve.
Cava, 22, missed five games after being placed on the 7-day injured reserve on March 8. The 6-foot and 200-pound native of Thunder Bay, Ontario has one goal and nine assists to go along with 209 penalty minutes in 52 games this season.
Paradise, 29, has career-highs with 37 goals, 36 assists and 73 points this season. The 6-foot and 190-pound native of St. Paul, Minnesota also has a team-high plus-31 rating.
Mississippi gets back into action on Saturday against the Louisiana IceGators at 7:05 p.m. at the Cajundome in Lafayette.
The start time for the Sea Wolves next home game has changed to 7:05 p.m. on Sunday against the Arkansas RiverBlades at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Every adult purchasing a ticket will get one free ticket for a child 12 and under.
