'Catters 'Ice' Pilots in 5-2 Win

Pensacola, FL (January 21, 2007) Marco Rosa scored twice including the game winner as the Wildcatters beat Pensacola 5-2 in front of 4,644 at the Pensacola Civic Center. Rosa scored his 14th and 15th goals of the season in the first period. The second came from Alex Leavitt and Mike Bayrack on the power play with just two minutes remaining in the first. Rosa now has scored four goals in three games since rejoining the 'Catters from the AHL.
Leavitt added a goal in the first period as Texas led 3-2 after one. Olivier Proulx would chip in with this 15th goal of the year four minutes into the second period and Leon Hayward rounded out the scoring with his 8th goal of the season to give the 'Catters a 5-2 win. Miroslav Kopriva made 35 saves for his seventh victory of the season. The 'Catters now begin a seven game home stand as they host Pensacola at 2:05 p.m today.
