Cats Trade Samuel Roussy
January 7, 2013 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Moncton Wildcats News Release
Moncton Wildcats completed the following transactions today: The Wildcats send defenseman Samuel Roussy to Chicoutimi for a 2013 3rd round draft pick. The Wildcats trade a 2013 12th round draft pick to Victoriaville in exchange for 1995 American born Graham Hunt.
"It was tough to trade Sam. He was a 1st class young man but it was an opportunity for him to play top 4 minutes and for us to pick up a significant draft pick." Regarded Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Danny Flynn. "We also traded for Graham Hunt who is a 1995 US Goalie who we feel has a lot of potential."
The QMJHL trade period ends tomorrow January 8th at 1PM. The Cats are back in action this Saturday January 12th at 7PM vs. the Gatineau Olympiques.
