The Wildcats snapped a short 2-game losing streak in convincing fashion, downing the Saint John Sea Dogs 7-2 before 4,800 at the Avenir Centre on Saturday night.
Rookie Caleb Desnoyers earned First Star honours with three assists. Yoan Loshing scored his 23rd and added a pair of helpers with other Wildcat tallies to Olivier Boutin (3rd), Oscar Plandowski (3rd), Thomas Auger (11th), Preston Lounsbury (14th) Shawn Carrier (4th) and Connor Trenholm (7th). Defenseman Ryan Hackett also had a strong game, contributing three assists.
Keegan Warren posted his 7th 'W' with 22 saves, while the Cats fired 37 shots at Saint John's Pat Leaver. The halfway point of the regular season has the Cats at 22-8-2-2.
