'Cats Take on Miners for the First Time this Year at "The Joe"

TROY, NY - Baseball, fireworks, and family-fun are back in New York's Capital Region this week as the Tri-City ValleyCats host the Sussex County Miners on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium from August 18-20.
On Friday, August 18, it will be Los Puentes de Tri-City. The ValleyCats will wear their special Copa de La Diversión uniforms to celebrate Hispanic and Latino culture. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM.
On Saturday, August 19, first pitch is also slated for 6:30 PM, and it will be Arts in the Ballpark Night. The 'Cats will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off to fans, which will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital Area. A link will be available online through the Live Source app to purchase these game-worn uniforms on Saturday.
On Sunday, August 20, it will be NFL Night and postgame fireworks presented by Price Chopper/Market 32. There will be NFL-themed fun and promotions as fans are encouraged to wear a jersey of their favorite football player. It will also be a Sunday FunDay presented by Highmark Blue Shield of Northeastern New York. Gates open at 3:30 PM, Tri-City players will be reading children's stories to fans at 3:40 PM, fans can have a pregame catch on the field at 4 PM, first pitch is scheduled for 5 PM, and after the game, kids can run the bases.
