
Cats sign catcher

The Edmonton Cracker-Cats announced today that they have come to contract terms with Charlie Lisk; a 6'3", 200 pound catcher from Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The 22 year-old was originally selected in the 24th round of the 2001 draft by the Chicago White Sox. In a 5 year pro career, Lisk has played with Bristol in the Appalachian League, Winston Salem in the Carolina League, Great Falls in the Pioneer League, and Kannapolis in the South Atlantic League. Lisk had been playing this season in the Florida Marlins system with Jupiter in the Florida State League.
Lisk will be in uniform for the Cracker-Cats weekend series at TELUS Field when the Cats host the Calgary Vipers.
