Moncton Wildcats News Release
Trade and releases announced:
All day meetings by the coaching staff of the Moncton Wildcats produced a number of player related developments on Wednesday afternoon.
20 year old Wildcats defenseman Matt Boyle was traded to the Lewiston MAINEiacs for a fourth round draft pick in 2010. Boyle was one of four 20 year players on the Wildcats roster. The PEI native was one of the six regular defensemen in the Cats lineup last year. He'll play a major role with the MAINEiacs this season.
Six players were released yesterday. They are Alex Grant, Taite Paul, Ben MacSwan, Sasha Molotkow, Michael Sicilia and 15 year old James Melindy, who will return to Notre Dame Prep School in Saskatchewan.
