The Edmonton Cracker-Cats announced three roster moves today all involving pitchers.

The 'Cats today announced the signing of Chris Kemlo, a 6'5" 200 pound right-hander from Oshawa, Ontario. Kemlo was a 34th round pick of the New York Yankees in the 2001 MLB draft. He was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks in '04 and last pitched for their single-A Yakima affiliate in the Northwest League where he went 5-7 with a 5.08 ERA in 88.2 innings of work over 16 starts.

Edmonton also claimed Quintin Oldenberg from the Calgary Vipers. A 6'2" 195 pound right-handed rookie was 2-4 with a 7.98 ERA over 44 innings this season with the Vipers. The Appleton, Wisconsin resident is a rookie class pitcher who went 11-5 overall in 2005 pitching for Gary and Calgary.

To make room for these two hurlers, Edmonton released RHP Mark Randall. Randall, a 36 year old right-hander made six appearances with the Cracker-Cats, logging 6.2 innings pitched and allowed just one unearned run along with seven hits and two strikeouts.
