
Cats Earn Point in OT Loss at Shawinigan

A seesaw battle Saturday night in Shawinigan saw the Cataractes nipping the Wildcats 4-3 on Felix Lacerte's overtime goal just 6 seconds into the extra frame at the Centre Gervais Auto.
The Cats led 3-2 after forty minutes with Miles Müller scoring twice (13th & 14th) and Yoan Loshing adding his 22nd of the season on a breakaway. Despite the setback, Jacob Steinman played well with 31 saves and the Cats had 27 shots at Remi Delafontaine.

Moncton took the first two games of this Quebec trip, 6-3 win in Sherbrooke and 4-0 triumph in Québec City. Overall, the Wildcats sport a strong 20-7-2-1 record after 30 games.
The Wildcats wish Müller and Julius Sumpf all the best at the upcoming IIHF World Junior Hockey training camps for Team Switzerland and Team Germany starting next week.
The Cats have a pair of upcoming home games before the Christmas Break. Friday, December 15, it's the annual Christmas Food Drive game against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at 7 p.m. All fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items to support the Peter McKee Community Food Centre. Saturday night, the annual Christmas game with the Cape Breton Eagles at 7pm. Fans are encouraged to wear their nicest 'Ugly Christmas Sweaters' for a chance to win prizes.
