Last Week's Recap
Last week the Moncton Wildcats recorded a 1-1-1 record during a tough stretch of 3 games in 3 nights. Last Thursday the Wildcats defeated the Lewiston Maineiacs 4-3 at the Moncton Coliseum. For the 2nd time against the Maineiacs in a week Shane Owen stopped 40 shots to lead the Wildcats to victory. Allain Saulnier scored his 14th and 15 goals of the season while Alex MacDonald and Marek Hrivik scored their 4th and 15th of the season respectively.
The following night the Wildcats returned to action welcoming the Gatineau Olympiques to the Coliseum. Moncton dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to Gatineau; Adam Janosik was the hero for the Olympique scoring the overtime winner on the powerplay at 4:11 of the extra frame. Scott Trask with his first of the season and Devon MacAusland his 8th scored for the Wildcats. Steve Gleeson recorded his first loss in as a Moncton Wildcat stopping 34 of 37 shots in the process.
Less than 24 hours later the Cats were on the road to face the PEI Rocket. The Wildcats played like a team playing its 3rd game in 3 nights as the constantly got out worked enroute to a 6-3 loss. Trask and MacAusland each scored for the second consecutive night while rookie Brett Malone notched the other Wildcat goal. Shane Owen recorded the loss for the Wildcats
Wildcats' Week Ahead
The Moncton Wildcats play 5 games in the next 9 days before they head into the Christmas break, effectively ending the first half of the 2010-11 season. Tonight the Wildcats travel to Halifax to take on the Halifax Mooseheads. With a 10-20-0-1 record the Moose sit 16th in the league with 21 points. The Wildcats are 1-1 versus Halifax this year, winning 5-1 on the road and dropping a 5-2 decision at the Coliseum. Sunday afternoon the Wildcats welcome Patrick Roy and the 4th ranked team in the CHL Quebec Remparts to the Coliseum. Quebec sports a 23-7-0-2 recorded and their 48 points is good enough for a 4th place tie in the QMJHL standings. The Remparts have won both games against the Wildcats this year. They beat the Cats 5-4 in overtime in Moncton and won 4-2 at the Colisee Pepsis back in October. Following a day off, the Wildcats welcome the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles to town Tuesday night. Moncton is a perfect 3-0 versus the 15th place Screaming Eagles (10-20-1-2) they have won 2-0 and 6-4 decisions at home and have a 5-4 shootout victory in Cape Breton. The Wildcats close out the first half of the season with back to back games next Thursday and Friday. Moncton travels to Bathurst Thursday to take on the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in what should be a battle for 2nd place in the Maritimes division. The Wildcats and Titan are currently tied for 7th in the league with 40 points. Acadie-Bathurst has had the Wildcats number thus far this season. They defeated the Cats 2-1 in a shootout on opening night and have also accumulated a pair of 4-1 victories over their provincial rivals. The Wildcats have managed to get one win a 4-1 decision at the Coliseum back in November. Friday December 17th the Cats play their last game before Christmas against the Mooseheads at the Coliseum, note the start time is 7:30pm.

The closing date for voting for your 15 Fan Favorites is near. Fans have until end of the game on December 17th to fill out a ballot. Ballots can be found during games at both entrances of the Coliseum as well as fan services. The race for the favorite Wildcat of all time is very close so make sure you have your say on who wins.
Roar Store Holiday Hours:
Just a reminder the Roar Store has started their holiday hour. The Roar Store will now be opened Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am ¬" 2 pm as well as Saturday's from 9am ¬" 4 pm. The Roar Store is also opened on game days from 12pm to the end of the game for Monday through Saturday games and 10am to the end of the game on Sundays.

Wildcats on Rogers Sportsnet
Note to fans: The Moncton Wildcats January 9th home game against the Rimouski Oceanic will be aired on Rogers Sportsnet television. Therefore, the start time for this match will be changed from its original 4pm time to 7:00pm AST. This will be the first of two Moncton Wildcat games aired on national TV this winter. Their February 27th game in Montreal against the Junior will also be shown on Rogers Sportsnet. Below is a list of the games shown on Sportsnet this year.

Just a reminder to Season Ticket Holders of 2010-2011 redemption nights. Redemption nights for this season are any Monday ¬" Thursday games. There is a maximum of 4 tickets per season ticket seat for each redemption night.
Upcoming Home Games
The Moncton Wildcats play three home games next week before heading into the Christmas break. Sunday December 12th they welcome Patrick Roy and the Quebec Remparts to town, game time is 4pm. Sunday, Fairmount Hotels is the game sponsor and one lucky fan will have the win a $500 from Fairmount Hotels. The booster club will be selling tickets on a #6 Jed Rusk jersey. Former Moncton Wildcat head coach Ted Nolan will be on hand to make a presentation on behalf of the Ted Nolan Foundation.
Tuesday the Wildcats welcome the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles to town for a 7pm showdown. It is our first Toonie Tuesday promo night. Buy a ticket at regular price and get a second ticket for a Toonie!! Marks Work Warehouse is the game sponsor and the Booster Club will be selling tickets on a autographed Devon MacAusland jersey.
Next Friday is the Moncton Wildcats last home game before the Christmas break, as they welcome the Halifax Mooseheads to the Coliseum. Note the game time for Friday games is 7:30pm. Taylor Ford is the game sponsor and the Booster club jersey will be an autographed Alex Saulnier jersey. Also, be sure to pick up a game program for you chance to participate in the 2nd intermission XL 96 Chuck-A-Puck. If you have a Wildcat stamp on the Taylor Ford logo inside your program, bring it to fan services to redeem your puck.
