It was like a scene from the United Nations as students from 23 countries displayed their flags at the opening ceremonies of Tuesday night's game. International Students night, hosted by District 2 Community Schools, was for many of the students from around the world, their first hockey

Sea Dogs coach looks for redemption at next Rivalry Cup game on New Year's Eve:

Gerard Gallant, head coach of the Saint John Sea Dogs says the next Rivalry Cup game at the Coliseum on New Year's Eve will have a different outcome. During an interview on the Wildcats broadcast on News 91.9 Tuesday night, the Summerside, PEI native said his team won't forget the 7-3 drubbing at the hands of the Wildcats last Sunday and will take appropriate action. With only a point separating the standings for the Cup, the Wildcats are convinced they can take the lead with a victory in the big game, the Mascot Challenge and the Food drive. Look for more exciting news next week about the New Year's Eve game.

Ted Nolan Foundation fundraising lunch:

The Wildcats are joining a number of sponsors in supporting the Ted Nolan Foundation at a special fundraising lunch at noon on Friday, January 8th at the Delta Beausejour Hotel. The goal of the luncheon is to raise two $4000.00 scholarships for Aboriginal women in New Brunswick. In addition a large silent auction will be held starting at 11am.
