
Cats' Blasko purchased by Orioles

Fort Worth Cats News Release
The Fort Worth Cats of the American Association sold the contract of pitcher Chadd Blasko to the Baltimore Orioles organization, it was announced today. He will report to Class-A Frederick of the Carolina League.
Blasko appeared in relief in two games with the Cats this season. In his last outing, he threw four innings of shutout baseball against Lincoln on Friday at LaGrave Field.
A former first-round draft pick of the Chicago Cubs, Blasko has missed the last two seasons due to injury. He becomes the first Cats' player in 2007 to be purchased by a major league organization.
