Columbus Catfish News Release
Columbus, GA - The Columbus Catfish are returning home on May 29th and the Catfish have many special nights planned:
Thursday May 29th vs. Greenville at 7 PM - The Catfish will have "Thirsty Thursday" where draft beer, small fountain sodas and hot dogs cost only 1 dollar. Also, the Catfish are having "College Night" where college student with a valid college ID may purchase General Admission tickets for $1. Friday May 30th vs. Greenville at 7 PM - The Catfish will have "NBC 38 Postgame Fireworks" and will also be giving away "Baseball Pillows" to the first 200 fans. Friday night is also Columbus Consolidated Government Employees Night. Finally, the Catfish will be having the "Fox 54/Sunny 100 Family Four Pack", where families can receive 4 General Admission tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 small sodas and a souvenir program for only $25. Saturday May 31st vs. Greenville at 7 PM - The Catfish will be giving "Thermal Mugs" to the first 500 fans as well as having the "Fox 54/Sunny 100 Family Four Pack". After the game, kids will receive the opportunity to run the bases in the "Dick's Sporting Goods Kids Run the Bases". Sunday June 1st vs. Greenville at 2 PM - The Columbus Catfish and the American Red Cross have teamed up to hold a Blood Drive June 1st before, during, and after the game from 12:45 to 5:15 p.m. Anyone who donates blood will receive a free ticket to the game that day and a free ticket to any future game they want. There will also be a raffle with great Catfish prizes for those who take time to donate blood. The Catfish will also host "Arby's Kids Eat Free" where kids 12 & under who purchase a youth ticket will receive a voucher good for a free hot dog, bag of chips and a small soda. Also, the first 100 kids, 12 & under will receive a baseball card promo pack and "Dick's Sporting Goods Kids Run the Bases" will occur after the game. Monday June 2nd vs. Savannah at 7 PM - The Catfish will be playing baseball bingo and all General Admission tickets will be $1.. Tuesday June 3rd vs. Savannah at 7 PM - The Catfish will be hosting "Two for Tic Tac Tuesday", where the purchase of one ticket will get a 2nd ticket free. Fans can then play Baseball Tic Tac Toe to win great Catfish prizes. Wednesday June 4th vs. Savannah at 11 AM - To accommodate all the camps, the Catfish are having a special 11 AM start. Also, the Catfish will be sponsoring "Carmike Cinemas a Ballgame and a Movie" where fans can show their Carmike Cinemas ticket stub and receive a free ticket with the purchase of a ticket. As always, Wednesday will be "Guaranteed Wins-Day" where Wednesday's ticket stub will be good for a free General Admission ticket to Thursday's game if the Catfish win.
