Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack has named veteran forward Daniel Catenacci the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February-24-13.

After being held pointless in a 3-2 OT win on Thursday, Catenacci lit up the score sheet on Saturday night with a Hat Trick and two assists. Catenacci's first goal was one of the nicest goals by an Attack player this season as he outraced and held off the defenseman before making a nifty move on the Saginaw goaltender while shorthanded. Catenacci also gave the Attack a 4-2 lead and he added the empty net goal in a 6-2 win.

The Newmarket native sits 11th in OHL scoring with 34 goals, 38 assists and 72 points. Catenacci's point total ties his career high which was set during the 2011/2012 season with the Attack.

On Monday, Catenacci and his teammates will travel to Hanover to take part in a community practice at the P&H Centre. Admission is by donation to Hanover Minor Hockey.
