OF Alex Castellanos was activated from the disabled list today, May 16 after being placed on the DL retroactive to April 29. In a corresponding move, IF Ozzie Martinez was sent to Double-A Chattanooga.

Castellanos has not seen action since April 28 of this season, but has played 21 games in 2013 for Albuquerque. The 6-foot-0 outfielder is batting .304 (24-for-79) on the year with four home runs and 14 RBI. The Miami native also stole eight bases before being place on the DL. The 26-year-old Isotope has been in the Dodgers system since 2011 when he was traded to the club from the St. Louis Cardinals for Rafael Furcal and cash.

Martinez will be making his first stint with the Double-A Chattanooga Lookouts. He joined the Los Angeles Dodgers organization in 2012 when his contract was purchased from the Chicago White Sox on July 10. The Puerto Rico native hit .231 (9-for-39) this season with the Topes in 12 games. He also hit four doubles and collected four RBI. He was originally drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 11th round of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft.

Albuquerque opens an eight-game homestand tonight May 16 against the Reno Aces at 6:35 PM MDT. RHP Blake Johnson (3-2, 4.42) is slated to take the ball for the Topes against Reno's RHP Charles Brewer (2-3, 4.24). Listen to all of the action as Josh Suchon has the call on 610AM.
