Ontario Reign News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, defending Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, announced that goaltender Chris Carrozzi has been returned to the team from the St. John's IceCaps of the AHL.

Carrozzi joins the Reign after appearing in one game with the IceCaps, where he stopped all six shots he faced since he was recalled on Jan. 9. The 22-year-old goaltender will pick up where he left off with Ontario with a goals-against average of 2.83 and a 0.885 save percentage. Prior to his call-up, Carrozzi had a 13-6-0-0 record with the Reign.

The Nepean, Ontario native was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the sixth round, 154th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and has played in four AHL games over his career - three with St. John's and one with the Chicago Wolves.
