GREENSBORO- Craig Peterson (6'3, 220) signs with the Carolina Cobras for his fourth year of arena football.
Peterson previously played for the Tampa Bay Storm from 2015-2016 and the Spokane Empire in 2017. During the 2015 season, Peterson was 85 for 98 in kicking attempts, 4 for 6 in field goal attempts and was responsible for 97 points for the Storm in 2015. During the 2016 season, Peterson was 15 for 23 in extra points and 2 for 4 in field goals. Peterson had five successful onside kick recoveries while with the Storm in the AFL. After joining the Spokane Empire in 2017, Peterson was responsible for 59 points for the Empire after making 10 of 15 field goal attempts and 29 of 39 extra point attempts. Peterson attended the State University of New York College at Cortland playing for the Cortland Red Dragons and earned his degree there before attending a training camp with Ottawa Redblacks in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Peterson is a native of Burnt Hills, New York.
