
Carolina Cobras Re-Sign K Brandon Rutherford

The Cobras are happy to announce the return K Brandon Rutherford (5'11" 185 Georgia Military College) for the 2020 NAL Season. This will be Rutherford's sixth season of arena football. He played with Monterrey Steel in the inaugural season of the NAL in 2017 and was second team All-NAL, in 2018 Rutherford played for the Maine Mammoths until he was injured. He came to Carolina in the middle of the 2019 season and was 2-7 on FGs with a long of 30 yards, 48-61 on PATs, and had eight Deuces.
Rutherford said "I'm excited to get back in the Pit and start working for another championship run. This organization has every resource for another run and to get to be a part of it is an amazing feeling. I'm ready to work!"
