Carlson Reassigned to Everblades

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that forward Ross Carlson has been reassigned to the team from the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League.

Carlson returns after spending nearly a month with the Rivermen where he played in three games, scoring one goal. The 26-year-old returns to the Everblades where he ranks ninth on the team in scoring with 15 points (7g, 8a). Carlson, who was placed on the 3-day injured reserve list upon his reassignment, also ranks second on the Everblades in plus/minus rating with a plus-11 mark.

Earlier this season, Carlson set a personal career-high with a seven-game point scoring streak from Oct. 24 - Nov. 8. The Duluth, Minnesota native returns to the Everblades currently riding a four-game point scoring streak (4g, 2a).

In addition the Everblades made changes to the injured reserve list today, moving forward Partick Bordeleau from the 3-day IR to the 7-day IR and moving forward Mark Lee from the 7-day IR to the 30-day IR.

The Everblades return to action on Saturday, December 27 when they travel to Gwinnett to take on the Gladiators from the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m.! The Everblades' next home game is Wednesday, December 31 when they host the Charlotte Checkers for a special 6:00 pm. New Year's Eve start!
