
Carlos Gonzalez Called to Triple-A; Ricardo Sosa Joins BayBears

MOBILE, AL - Carlos Gonzalez has been called to Triple-A Tucson, and is scheduled to join the Sidewinders Friday for their game in Las Vegas. Gonzalez hit .286 in 120 games with the BayBears in 2007, with a team leading 16 home runs and 75 RBI's. The Venezuela native Gonzalez also played in the Futures Game in July in San Francisco, going 0-1 with a sacrifice fly.
To take the place of Gonzalez on the BayBears roster, Carlos Sosa has been added from Single-A South Bend. The Cuban born Sosa has hit .202 in just 24 Midwest League games this season.
