Springfield, MO - The Cardinals (32-29, 63-67) won their third in a row in front of 6,783 fans, the largest crowd of the season, taking down San Antonio (28-34, 66-63) Saturday night 8-6 at Hammons Field.

Notables:

-RHP Kyle Leahy dominated on the mound tonight, going 5.0 IP / 5 H / 0 R / 3 BB / 1 K

-1B Brady Whalen went 2-for-4 with a 2-out, 2-run triple, his 3rd triple of Double-A

-CF Justin Toerner went 2-for-3 with a 3-run HR that gave the Cardinals the lead in the 3rd inning and his 11th double of the season
