Springfield, MO - The Cardinals (17-15, 51-50) were held to just 3 hits through 9 innings in their 5-0 shutout loss to the Naturals (16-15, 45-55) Saturday night at Hammons Field. The Cardinals still lead the series 3-2.

Notables:
CF Victor Scott II extended his on-base streak to 12 games Saturday night. He has reached base safely in 28 of his first 29 games played with Springfield.
Despite getting the loss on the night, Alex Cornwell had another fantastic night on the mound with final line of -- 5.0 IP / 5 H / 1 R / 2 BB / 6 SO
With both Springfield and the Arkansas Travelers losing tonight, the Cardinals are still in first place in the Texas League North Division, 0.5 game ahead of both Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas.
