Captains Release 2023 Schedule

Lake County Captains News Release


(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, will start the 2023 season on Thursday, April 6 with a home series at Classic Park against the Dayton Dragons (Cincinnati Reds). The Captains will host 12 homestands throughout the 2023 regular season, which runs through Sunday, September 10 when the team ends the campaign at home against the Lansing Lugnuts (Oakland Athletics).

The Captains will also host the Great Lakes Loons (Los Angeles Dodgers), South Bend Cubs (Chicago Cubs), Peoria Chiefs (St. Louis Cardinals), West Michigan Whitecaps (Detroit Tigers) and more! Game times will be announced soon.

The Captains still have six home games on the schedule for 2022 as they make a push for the Midwest League Playoffs! The team returns to Classic Park on Tuesday, September 6 for a six-game series against the Fort Wayne TinCaps (San Diego Padres). Tuesday's game is a Buck Night presented by the Ohio Lottery featuring $1 hot dogs, 12-ounce domestic draft beer and fountain soda. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 PM.
