Lansing Lugnuts News Release
The Lansing Lugnuts announced the following roster changes, in conjunction with the Oakland Athletics:
- Pitcher Jake Walkinshaw promoted to Triple-A Las Vegas
- Catcher Hansen López placed on the Covid IL
- Outfielder Lazaro Armenteros placed on the Restricted List (Suspended List).
The updated Lugnuts roster has 27 active players, six players on the Injured List, five players on the Covid IL and three on the Temporarily Inactive List.
Walkinshaw, 26, was 3-1 with a 3.83 ERA in nine games, eight starts, with the Lugnuts, striking out 43 and walking 11 in 40 innings. This is the first trip for the native of Seymour, Conn., to Triple-A.
