
Captains Begin Three-Game Home Stand Saturday

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will begin a brief three-game home stand on Saturday as the Lansing Lugnuts (Blue Jays affiliate) make their first visit to Classic Park this season.
Saturday is the first Fireworks Saturday Night presented by Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks extravaganza. Saturday is also Ladies Night presented by Malibu Rum, featuring Malibu Rum drink specials for the ladies.
As part of the Captains Racing Weekend theme, the first 1,500 fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a Captains Racing T-shirt courtesy of Lake Health. There will many racing themed in-game activities throughout the weekend include Racing Tire Races on the field, Mascot Race, Hot Dog Race, Fish Race, Dizzy Bat Race, Build-a-Burger, Build-a-Burrito and Minute to Win It.
. Prior to the game on Saturday, students representing the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center from Wilson Elementary will sign the National Anthem that will be sung by the Willoughby South High School Choir.
Sunday is a Family Fun Day and will feature a pre-game player autograph session, expanded in-stadium entertainment and activities, an enhanced Kids' Zone area with new inflatables including a new speed pitch and the opportunity for kids to run the bases after the game. Lake County Speedway will also have several drivers and their cars on display in the concourse at Classic Park during the game.
The home stand concludes with a Monday Buck Night, presented by PNC, featuring $1 Five Star Brand Hot Dogs, chips, French fries, popcorn, soda and beer. Also, fans receive a $1 discount on their tickets or $2 off their tickets if they use a PNC Bank debit or credit card.
The first Hot Air Balloon Prize Drop will take place after the game on Monday night. Randomly selected fans will have the opportunity to go on the field following the game to win great prizes dropped from a Hot Air Balloon that is tethered over center field.
Monday is also Restaurant Appreciation Night when area restaurants will be saluted and many of the restaurant employees will participate in in-game contests. In a role reversal, the restaurant employees will have vendors wait on them in their special section so they do no have to go to the concessions stands.
