
'Caps vs. 86ers: Teams Announced for Saturday's Charity Alumni Match

VANCOUVER, BC - The stage is set.Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today the rosters for Saturday's charity alumni match, which will see alumni of the Vancouver 86ers face Whitecaps FC alumni from 1:45 p.m. PT to 2:45 p.m. PT at BC Place - prior to the Major League Soccer match vs. Colorado Rapids at 4 p.m. PT.
This is the 30th anniversary of the founding of the 86ers, who brought Vancouver back onto the professional soccer scene in 1986 after a two-year absence. The 86ers will go up against a Whitecaps FC side that features MLS fan favourites Jay DeMerit, Robert Earnshaw, Young-Pyo Lee, and Andy O'Brien.
Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for the match. Tickets are available for purchase for $5, with all proceeds donated to BC Children's Hospital. To purchase a ticket for the alumni match, fans must also have or purchase a ticket for the evening's MLS match.
Season ticket members and fans who already have a ticket for the MLS match can purchase tickets online HERE. Fans who do not yet have a ticket for the MLS match and would like to attend both matches can purchase tickets online HERE.

All tickets for the alumni match are general admission in sections 212 to 216. Fans can enter BC Place through Gate A beginning at 1:15 p.m. PT with the match kicking off at 1:45 p.m. PT.
A limited number of tickets will also be available for purchase at the Gate A box office beginning at 12:15 p.m. PT. A valid ticket for the afternoon's MLS match must be presented to enter the alumni match. No in-and-outs will be permitted between the alumni match and the MLS match.
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment!
