West Michigan Whitecaps News Release

COMSTOCK PARK, MI - Monday's scheduled game between the West Michigan Whitecaps and Fort Wayne TinCaps at Fifth Third Ballpark has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The postponement becomes the seventh gameday a Whitecaps game has been called off since the beginning of the 2018 season.

With heavy rain throughout late Sunday night and into this afternoon in West Michigan, the decision was made to make up Monday's game as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday beginning at 11:00 am. Both games will last seven innings in duration, with a 30-minute break in-between contests.

Fans with tickets for Monday's game can exchange them for any home game throughout the 2018 season at the Fifth Third Ballpark Box Office, based on availability.

On Sunday, the Whitecaps got home runs from Colby Bortles and Rey Rivera as part of a 7-4 victory to complete a three-game series sweep of the Lake County Captains.
