Dayton Dragons pitcher Tyler Mondile has been named Midwest League Pitcher of the Week for the week of May 14-20. Mondile made one appearance during the week, tossing a one-hit shutout in the second game of the doubleheader on Friday, May 18 vs. Great Lakes. In this game, he retired 21 of the 22 batters in a seven-inning game, including the last 20 batters. Mondile struck out eight and walked no one.
