West Michigan Whitecaps News Release

FORT WAYNE, IN - Thursday's scheduled game between the West Michigan Whitecaps and Fort Wayne TinCaps at Parkview Field has been postponed due to rain.

The Whitecaps have now had eight postponements since the beginning of the 2018 season.

With constant rain throughout Thursday in Fort Wayne, the decision was made after game-time to make up Thursday's game as part of a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 5:35 pm. Both games will last seven innings in duration, with a 30-minute break in-between contests.

Last weekend, the Whitecaps ended the first half on a four-game winning streak by virtue of a three-game sweep of the Dayton Dragons, finishing with an 8-0 shutout victory on Sunday afternoon.
