Capitols Celebrate Thanksgiving with Three Games on the Road

The Wisconsin Cheese Cup presented by Odyssey continues on Wednesday evening as Madison hits the road to Green Bay for a stand-alone game before the holiday on Thursday.

Records Coming In:

- Madison's Record: 9-5-2-1, 4th in the conference.

- Green Bay's Record: 12-6-1-0, 3rd in the conference.

Wisconsin Cheese Cup presented by Odyssey History:

- The Wisconsin Cheese Cup is not only squared up at 1-1 this season, but tied up all time with each team winning the trophy four times since Madison's return to the league prior to the 2014-15 season.

About Last Weekend:

- Madison was able to force the series split with Green Bay after falling 5-3 in game one of the two game set. The Caps are now 4-1-2-0 on the road this season after taking down the Gamblers 6-4 on Saturday night.

Forward of the Week:

- With a hat trick on Saturday and an additional three points throughout the weekend, Austin Burnevik captured the league's Forward of the Week award. This is the second time this season that a Capitol has brought home a player of the week award this season.

Changing Time Zones Again:

- Following the stand-alone game on Wednesday in Green Bay, the Capitols head to Muskegon on Friday and Saturday to face off against the Lumberjacks. These will be the third and fourth games between the two this season. They split the two games in October with Madison taking the first 4-1 and Muskegon taking the second 5-2.
