Capitols Add Latvian Center Rainers Rullers

The Capitols are proud to announce the addition of Latvian forward Rainers Rullers. The center brings a formidable presence to the team and adds significant depth to the Capitols' roster for the 2023-24 season.

Rainers Rullers, hailing from Latvia, is a highly skilled and promising young talent who has showcased his abilities on the international stage. The 19-year-old center represented his home country in the past two IIHF World Junior Championship. In six games during the 2023 edition of the tournament, Rullers tallied two assists both coming against team USA.

Rullers will add size to the Capitols up front, which was a department that the team struggled in last season. Standing at an imposing 6' 4" and weighing 194 lbs, Rullers possesses the physical attributes necessary to excel in a highly competitive league like the USHL. His size, combined with his skill set and relentless work ethic, will undoubtedly make him a force to be reckoned with on the ice.
