
Capitols Acquire Stevens from Force

Madison, WI - The Madison Capitols announced a roster move on Monday morning, as forward Charlie Gerard was traded to the Fargo Force in exchange for forward Brody Stevens.
Stevens, 18, is a native of Ann Arbor, Mich. who has registered 13 points in Fargo's first 25 games this season. He has committed to play his college hockey for Western Michigan University.
In 58 games with the Force in 2014-15, Stevens scored 15 goals, added 20 assists, and registered 93 penalty minutes, all at the ripe young age of 17.
Gerard departs the Capitols after a very successful run in Madison. One of the Capitols' original expansion tendered players, the Rocky River, Ohio native scored 27 goals and added 21 assists in 86 games in a Capitols uniform. He will begin his college hockey career with Minnesota State University next fall.
After a thrilling two-day weekend that saw Madison pick up a pair of thrilling victories over Lincoln and Green Bay, the Capitols will return home following the holiday break to play host to the Dubuque Fighting Saints one final time in the 2015-16 season on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 7:05 p.m. Family Four Packs are back for this one, as a family can receive four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and four bags of chips for just $48.
