Now the gloves will come off. The Golden Baseball League's North Division title will be decided by a good old-fashioned Battle of Alberta. The Edmonton Capitals are officially in the playoffs. The Caps have built up enough of a cushion on the third place Chico Outlaws to secure the second half playoff spot in the North Division. The Capitals will host the Calgary Vipers for the first two games of the best-of-five series on September 1st and 2nd , both 7 o'clock starts at TELUS Field. Game 3 of the series will be in Calgary on Friday September 5th. Games four and five will also be in Calgary, if necessary.
Tickets are on sale now! You can purchase them by visiting any Ticketmaster location, at the Capitals Game Day Box Office during regular business hours Monday through Friday, by calling (780) 414-GOAL or by visiting capsbaseball.ca. Fans with any unused tickets from any Capitals home games this year are encouraged to redeem them for tickets to any remaining home game this season.
