Capital Region Craft Brewers Festival at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium This

TROY, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats baseball team and Brown's Brewing Company have part-nered to present the Capital Region Craft Brewers Festival - the first major brewers festival in the Capital Region to be hosted by the New York State Brewers Association. The festival will be held this Saturday, July 24 from 2:30 until 6:30 pm at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY.
An updated list of confirmed brewers was announced today. Joining Brown's Brewing Company will be the following: Adirondack Pub & Brewery, Brewery Ommegang, Chatham Brewing Co, C.H. Evans Albany Pump Station, Ellicottville Brewing Co., Ithaca Beer, Lake Placid Pub & Brew-ery, Long Trail Brewing Co., Magic Hat Brewing Co., McNeill's Brewery, Olde Saratoga Brewing Co., Otter Creek Brewing, Redhook Brewery, Saranac Brewery, Switchback Brewing Co., and Wolaver Organic Ales. Check out Vic Christopher's blog, which includes links and information on all of these breweries. Additional breweries are expected to confirm prior to the event on Saturday.
Craft beer fans will enjoy a fun-filled afternoon celebrating the art of craft brewing with some of the finest craft breweries in the Northeast. In addition to sampling great beer and food, their will be live music by the Capital Region's own Jericho Joe and a home brewing demonstration, by Hennessy Homebrew Emporium. Tickets are on sale now online at www.capitalbrewfest.com, the ValleyCats ticket office, Brown's Brewing Co. or over the phone at 629-2287.
This is a fundraising event to benefit the New York-Penn League Charitable Foundation with pro-ceeds going to help provide safe and well-maintained baseball fields for children throughout the area.
