Canucks recall Nycholat

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have recalled defenceman Lawrence Nycholat from his conditioning stint.

Nycholat, 29, appeared in three games with the Moose after being re-assigned to Manitoba for conditioning on Nov. 6/08. In that span, he collected three assists. The Calgary, AB native has already played in three games this season with the Canucks and has collected two penalty minutes. As a result, Nycholat native has now played in 34 career NHL games with Vancouver, Ottawa, and Washington. In that time, he's scored eight points (2-6-8). In 486 games in the AHL with Binghamton, Hershey, Hartford, and Houston, Nycholat has scored 55 goals and 221 assists for 276 points and 726 penalty minutes.
