Canucks Recall Chris Tanev

Prior to their game Sunday vs. the Minnesota Wild, the Vancouver Canucks announced they had recalled defenceman Chris Tanev from the Manitoba Moose.

Tanev, 21, has appeared in all 39 games thus far for the Moose in his rookie season. In that time, he has nine points (1g, 8a) and 16 penalty minutes. He scored his first goal as a pro on Nov. 13/10 vs. Rochester and has had a pair of multi-point games so far this season.
