
Canucks recall Baumgartner

Today the Vancouver Canucks announced that defenceman Nolan Baumgartner has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose.
Baumgartner played in two AHL matches with Manitoba over the weekend and recorded one goal (on the power play) and one assist for two points and four penalty minutes. He also fired four shots during the two games.
Baumgartner, 26, has played in six pre-season games for the Canucks, recording one goal and one assist. Last season, he played in 76 games for the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL, recording 10 goals, 24 assists for 34 points and 72 penalty minutes. The Calgary, AB native signed as a free agent with the Canucks on July 9, 2002.
Baumgartner was assigned to Manitoba on October 9.
