Canes Look To Keep On Rolling

Lethbridge, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes, fresh off their big win on Tuesday over the highly touted Calgary Hitmen will look to extend their winning streak to a season high four games as they host the Tri City Americans on Friday night at the ENMAX Centre. Lethbridge then head east on Highway 3 to take on Medicine Hat on Saturday night before returning to the ENMAX Centre on Sunday to host the Kootenay Ice.

The Ams become the fourth of five U.S. Division teams to visit the ENMAX Centre in 09-10 and are coming off a strong season which saw them once again capture the U.S. Division crown before being eliminated by the eventual WHL Champion Kelowna Rockets in the second round of the 2009 WHL Playoffs. Lethbridge suffered a 5-2 loss in theses teams only meeting of 08-09 in Kennewick. Cam Braes and Carter Ashton tallied the goals for the Canes. All time the Hurricanes have a 11-7-0-0-0 record against the Americans in Lethbridge and an overall record of 18-15-2-0-0 in their history.

- The "New Kid": Rookie Mitch Maxwell leads all Canes rookies with 15 points (11G, 4A) in 19 games and just came off a five game goal scoring streak. His 11 goals are good for second in the WHL rookie goal scoring race.

- "Mr. Anderson": Rookie goaltender Brandon Anderson has notched three wins in a row with a 3.24 GAA and a.891 sv % over that span while filling in for the injured Linden Rowat.
