Cancer Survivor Night Highlights Home Stand

River City Rascals News Release
O'Fallon, Mo - The River City Rascals, presented by Signature Medical Group, begin a three-game home stand with "80's Night" on Tuesday and close out the series against the Washington WildThings with Cancer Survivor Night on Thirsty Thursday.
Fans are encouraged to turn back the clock Tuesday night for an 80's themed night at T.R. Hughes Ballpark. Take advantage of the Two for Tuesday promotion, two tickets, two hotdogs, and two sodas for the price of one, and dig your favorite 80's clothes out of the back of the closet for a best-dressed competition and enjoy some of the top music throughout the night from A-ha to ZZ Top.
Wednesday is a "Dog Day" at the ballpark. Dogs are welcome in the ballpark and the concession stands will feature dollar hotdogs throughout the game.
Thursday is one of the biggest and most inspirational nights each season with Cancer Survivor Night. Cancer survivors will be honored in a pregame parade and many will throw out the first pitch. The Rascals encourage all survivors to join the parade around the field that starts at 6:45. There will be several items from the St. Louis pro sports teams and many other collectables to bid on at a silent auction to help raise money for the cause. All proceeds from the auction, as well as those from a donation bucket, will go to Siteman Cancer Center's charity of choice. The seventh inning stretch features testimonials and on-field recognition of some of those who share their stories of fighting the ultimate fight.
