Canadiens Recall Benoit Pouliot From Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that forward Benoit Pouliot has been recalled to Montreal from the Hamilton Bulldogs. Pouliot was assigned to the Bulldogs for conditioning purposes on December 10th.

Pouliot, 23, played in three games with Hamilton this past weekend earning three points (one goal, two assists) and four penalty minutes. This season, the 6-foot-3, 199-pound left wing has played in 14 games for the Minnesota Wild earning four points (two goals, two assists) and 12 penalty minutes. The native of Alfred, Ontario was drafted in the 1st round, 4th overall by the Wild in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

The Bulldogs will battle the Americans on December 26th at 7:05 p.m. in Rochester. Fans can listen to every 'Dogs game on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, TALK 820.
