Canadiens Recall Ben Maxwell From Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Ben Maxwell has been recalled to Montreal from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Maxwell, 21, has earned 44 points (16 goals, 28 assists) and 22 penalty minutes in 57 games with the Bulldogs this season. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound centre has also played in 12 games with the Canadiens in 2009-2010 but was held pointless while serving six penalty minutes. The native of North Vancouver, British Columbia was drafted in the 2nd round, 49th overall by Montreal in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

The Bulldogs travel to Glens Falls, New York to battle the Adirondack Phantoms on Wednesday, March 17th for a 7:00 p.m. game.
