VANCOUVER, BC: Fresh off a wild 4-1 victory in extra innings last night, Everett came into Friday afternoon game looking to extend their win streak to four games and pull within a half game of the first place Canadians. Right-hander Jordan Jackson got the start and pitched well, going 5.0 innings allowing just two runs and striking out five. It was the second start in High-A for Jackson, both of which were at Vancouver. He was the Mariners 10th round selection in 2021 draft out of Georgia Southern.

The AquaSox offense would give Jackson a cushion early on as James Parker hit a sacrifice fly and David Sheaffer would hit an RBI single to give Everett a 2-0 lead in the first.

Vancouver would tie the game at two in the bottom of the second with an RBI single by Garrett Spain and an RBI double by Andres Sosa. The AquaSox answered back in fourth as Myles Miller hit a ground-rule double making it 3-2. Everett would score two more times in the inning.

Unfortunately, Everett couldn't hold the lead as Vancouver would score four runs in the final three innings to snap the Sox three game winning streak.

For Everett, Noelvi Marte had a three-hit day and Alberto Rodriguez would also have a multi-hit game. Rodriguez extended his hitting streak to 11 games with a double in the first.

The Frogs will be back at Funko Field on Tuesday, August 2nd against the Hillsboro Hops for Kids Day with a special 11:05 am PDT first pitch.
