VANCOUVER, B.C. - Balbino Fuenmayor went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI, helping the Vancouver Canadians to a 6-2 victory over the Boise Hawks in a rain-shortened game at Nat Bailey Stadium.

Fuenmayor got Vancouver on the board in the first, golfing a solo shot off the jumbotron in left-centerfield. The C's would push the margin to 3-0 in the second on an RBI infield single from Yeico Aponte and a double steal attempt that saw Hawks catcher Rafael Lopez drop a throw home trying to catch Aponte stealing home.

The Hawks would close the gap in the third, getting RBI single from Pin-Chieh Chen and Rafael Lopez, but would strand the tying run at third.

Vancouver would add to their lead in the fifth, getting a Shane Opitz sacrifice fly and back to back RBI singles from Fuenmayor and Nick Baligod before the deluge hit the ball park. After a delay of 43 minutes, the umpire crew called the game.

Justin Nicolino tossed the first complete game of the season in the Northwest League this year, going five innings, allowing two runs and striking out six. Ben Wells took the loss for the Hawks, allowing six runs on six hits.

Game 5 of the series is tomorrow afternoon at 2:05 p.m. (MT), with Willengton Cruz meeting Blake McFarland.
