Worcester pounded out 14 hits to blank Sussex 6-0 and sweep the three game series. Starting pitcher Junior Guerrero was dominant, striking out 11 batters over seven shutout innings of work. The win gave Guerrero his eighth of the year. Six different Worcester batters had two hits in the game. LF Josh Beauregard had a triple and three RBI for the Tornadoes offense as well. For Sussex, LF Scott Grimes and C Jason Alcott each went 1-for-3 in the game.

New Haven County 3, Brockton 1

New Haven County starting pitcher Justin Knoff pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing only four hits, to pick up the win and lead the Cutters past Brockton 3-1. With the win, Knoff improved to 8-5 on the season. Closer Andy Weimer was strong in the ninth, retiring both batters he faced to tally his 17th save. 3B Jeremy Terni and RF Orlando Encarnacion combined for three hits and two RBI for New Haven County at the plate. SS Mike Scanzano went 1-for-2 with an RBI to lead Brockton offensively.

Quebec 2, Nashua 1

Quebec scored a run in the top of the ninth to break a 1-1 tie and take a 2-1 victory over Nashua. Starting pitcher Jorge Perez was impressive, allowing just one over seven innings of work, but did not figure in the decision. Relief pitcher Brandon Pello picked up the win for Quebec, pitching a perfect eighth inning. Closer Christian Mendoza struck out all three batters he faced in the ninth to record his 15th save of the year. CF Goefrey Tomlinson scored a run and led the Capitales with two hits in the game. Nashua SS Elliott Ayala was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2.

North Shore 2, New Jersey 1

North Shore starting pitcher Joey Siak allowed just one run on four hits over eight innings to pick up his sixth win of the season and help the Spirit past New Jersey 2-1. Closer Kevin Fitzgerald added to his league leading save total with a perfect ninth inning. He now has 21 on the season. At the plate, DH Jon DeVries and 3B Ryan Bethel each had a hit and an RBI to account for both North Shore runs. For New Jersey, LF Jason Tuttle went 2-for-4 and scored the Jackals' lone run.
