Trois-Rivieres 8, Quebec 1 - Box Score

Trois-Rivieres jumped out to a 7-1 lead after three innings of play and would cruise from there to collect an 8-1 victory over Quebec.

The Aigles continued to show their offensive firepower against the Capitales as they pounded out another 11 hits (22 total in the last two games). Trois Rivieres leadoff hitter Levon Washington led the way going 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and five RBIs. Aigles 3B Taylor Brennan had a pair of hits in four at-bats along with a run scored and an RBI while RF Tucker Nathans and 1B Michael Suchy each picked-up two hits and a run batted in.

Trois-Rivieres starting pitcher Domenic Mazza tossed seven solid innings and notched the win. Mazza gave up an earned run on five hits and struck out six batters.

For Quebec in the loss, RF JD Williams scored a run and stole two bases in a 2-for-4 day.

New Jersey 5, Ottawa 1 - Box Score

After falling behind 1-0 through an inning of play, New Jersey took command of the game scoring a pair of runs in each of the next two innings and rolling on to a 5-1 win over Ottawa.

The Jackals took a 2-1 lead in the second thanks to a two-run double from C Richard Stock. New Jersey increased their advantage to 4-1 in the third on a double from 2B Andrew Dundon and a LF Alfredo Marte single. The Jackals would tack on an insurance run in the seventh.

Stock and Marte each collected two RBIs in the contest.

New Jersey starter Eduard Reyes allowed an earned run over six innings of work to nab the victory. Reyes gave up a walk and five hits while fanning two batters.

Right fielder Steve Brown drove in the lone run for the Champions in defeat.

Sussex County 9, Rockland 1 - Box Score (Completion of Suspended Game from May 17th)

In the completion of the suspended game from May 17th, Sussex County jumped out to a 5-1 lead after four innings of play and would go on from there to defeat Rockland by the score of 9-1.

The Miners were led at the plate by lead off hitter Angel Reyes as he went 1-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBIs. Left fielder DK Carey plated a pair of runs and walked three times in a 1-for-2 day while CF Brandon Downes had a hit in three at-bats and drove in two runs. Sussex County had 7 hits in the contest but were walked 14 times by Boulders pitching.

Scott Kuzminsky tossed 3 2/3 shutout innings of relief to earn the victory. Kuzminsky gave up four hits and struck out two batters.

For Rockland in the loss, RF Jordan Hinshaw went 2-for-4 and scored their only run.

Rockland 5, Sussex County 5 (Bottom 7/Regularly Scheduled Game - Suspended/Rain)

The game between Rockland and Sussex County has been suspended in the bottom of the seventh inning with the score tied at 5-5. The game will be completed on Friday, June 21st at 6:05 PM followed by the regularly scheduled contest.
