Worcester 11, Pittsfield 5
The Worcester Tornadoes rally from an early 5-4 deficit with five runs in the fifth inning and cruise to an 11-5 victory over the Pittsfield Colonials. Worcester CF Ryan Crespi went 3-for-5 with a triple, two runs scored and a run batted in while 3B Mark Minicozzi had two hits, including a home run, and scored three times. Tornadoes reliever Ryan Walfield recorded the win. He tossed two scoreless innings allowing three walks.
Quebec 3, Brockton 2 [Completion of Suspended Game from June 1]
INF Dan Barbero singled home LF Robert Wagner with the game winning run in the ninth inning to give Quebec the 3-2 win over Brockton in the completion of the suspended game from June 1. Barbero and SS Seth Henry each had two hits to lead the Capitales offense. Quebec reliever TJ Stanton picked up the win tossing three scoreless innings and striking out four.
