The Camden Riversharks jumped out to a 6-0 lead and never looked back on their way to a 10-3 victory over the Atlantic City Surf before 2365 at the Sandcastle Wednesday night.
Camden got three RBIs from Dwight Maness and two RBIs from Creighton Gubanich and Lipso Nava to up its record to 14-6. Atlantic City dropped to 12-7. Chad Gambill had two RBIs for Atlantic City and Garry Lee Maddoz had one. Todd Rizzo got the victory for Camden in relief of starter Kevin Dougherty. David Carroll, who gave up six runs one nine hits, took the loss for Atlantic City. Carroll is 2-3. Atlantic City still leads the Atlantic City Expressway Series 6-5.
The two teams meet again Thursday morning at 11:05 a.m. Anthony Chavez faces Del Matthews.
