Calgary Hitmen News Release

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club unveiled today their new RBK Edge uniform system to be worn starting in 2009/10 Western Hockey League regular season.

The black jersey (worn at home for the first half of the season) features the traditional Hitmen logo but now includes the Hitmen mask as shoulder patches.

The white jersey (worn at home during the second half of the season) features a black Hitmen mask with red eyes, nose and mouth while incorporating the traditional Hitmen logo as shoulder patches.

Both jerseys also feature a lace neck but maintain the Hitmen color scheme of black, white, copper and red.

Hitmen players Jason MacDonald and Chase Schaber were on hand to model the new uniforms at the Avison Young Club in the Pengrowth Saddledome and were joined by Alberta Major Bantam Players.

"I think these new jerseys look awesome," said MacDonald. "I know the guys really liked the classic black jersey but I think the newly designed white jersey featuring the mask will quickly become a fan favorite as well."

The new uniform, designed by the Calgary Hitmen and developed by Reebok in conjunction with the WHL, features a jersey that embraces the Hitmen's rich history while utilizing technologically advanced fabrics and materials for performance.

Both jerseys are on sale now exclusively at all FanAttic locations and online through www.flamesport.com
