
Calgary Hitmen Take 2-0 Series Lead Over Medicine Hat

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen got two goals and two assists from Tyler Shattock en route to a 4-0 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers Sunday night at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
The Hitmen now lead the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Semi-Final Series 2-0.
Martin Jones made 19 saves for his third career playoff shutout as the Hitmen outshot the Tigers 21-19.
Michael Stone and Brandon Kozun also scored for the Hitmen who were outshot 9-3 in the first period but responded with two goals in the second period and two more in the third.
Calgary went 1-5 on the powerplay while the Tigers were 0-5.
The series now shifts to Medicine Hat for Games 3 and 4 Tuesday and Wednesday.
